The Flesh and Blood 2023 National Championships have been announced! These events will happen across the globe from August 25th to September 10th, and will award World Championship Invitations, which will guarantee a spot into the World Championship, as the name implies. National Championships
Just to recap: National Championships are annual events that serve as a chance for players to battle for a World Championship Invite, and are held across the world. Players can qualify for these events through Road to Nationals events held beforehand as part of the Road to Nationals season.
The National Championship events can be invitation-only or open-entry, depending on where they are held. Players who have qualified through a Top 4 ranking in a Road to Nationals event receive free entry to open-entry events.
The invitation-only events gather players who have won Road to Nationals events, which are open-entry themselves, and also invite players who have received an invite via 90-day XP, or have redeemed a PTI. The XP-based invitations are based on leaderboard standings which are updated seasonally. This year's cutoff date is Tuesday, June 13th at 11:59 pm PDT (Pacific Daylight Time).
