Introduction

In today's article, we'll discuss this Stellar Crownlink outside website Slowking strategy. You can use its attack to copy the attacks of any "baby" Pokémon you discarded from the top of your deck for just two energies, (P)(C). This deck stood out against several meta decks, like Charizard ex, Raging Bolt ex, Lugia VStar, Lost Box, Dragapult ex, and many others, and got 11th place at the Osaka City League, in Japan.

Let's understand how it works!

Slowking: The Main Attacker

This Pokémon's main attack is Seek Inspiration, which discards one card from the top of your deck. If this discarded card is a Pokémon without any Rule Box, Slowking can copy any of its attacks for just two energies, (P)(C).

Pokémon You Can Copy

Conkeldurr TWM 105's attack, Gutsy Swing, deals 250 damage, so it's useful against decks that use special conditions, like the ones centered around Hisuian Electrode V PR-SW SWSH294.

Regigigas PRE 86 deals 330 damage, and, as such, is perfect against enemy Tera Pokémon ex.

Kyurem SFA 47 is perfect if you need to deal "sniper" damage, particularly against Colress cards, like Colress's Tenacity SFA 57 or Colress's Experiment LOR 155.

Recursive Pokémon

Budew PRE 4 is a control Pokémon, as it prevents your opponent from playing "items" next turn.

Tatsugiri TWM 131 lets you look for a Supporter among the top six cards in your deck and add it to your hand.

Fezandipiti ex SFA 38 draws three cards whenever one of your Pokémon is knocked out by an enemy attack.

Squawkabilly ex PR-SV 160 is useful on the first turn, as it discards your hand and draws six new cards.

Latias ex SSP 76 lets you retreat any basic Pokémon for free.

Matchups

Pros

This deck is strong against many Tera Pokémon ex, like Charizard ex, Dragapult ex, and Raging Bolt ex. It is also efficient against Lost Box decks.

Furthermore, Colress's Tenacity SFA 57 is great with it, as it activates Kyurem SFA 47's effect and lets you attack for just one colorless energy.

Cons

This deck struggles against Hydreigon ex SSP 119 because of its "mill" mechanic, as well as Pikachu ex SSP 57, which can survive K.O.s and stay in play with 10 HP.

Decks with Terapagos ex PRE 92, which can use Fan Rotom SCR 118 as a fast, aggressive answer, are also favored against Slowking.

Final Words

This deck is efficient and accessible. It can be a nice surprise for many players who still don't know what to do to beat the main decks in the meta.
