VGC
A new trailer for Pokémon Legends: Z to A was revealed, focusing on the Kalos region (6th generation).
Additionally, the new starter Pokémon available in Lumiose City were announced: Chikorita, Totodile, and Tepig.

Pokémon Champions
Within the VGC universe, an exciting new feature was introduced: a crossplay system between Nintendo Switch and mobile players, including the Pokémon GO community.
The main idea is to allow GO players to use Pokémon HOME to transfer their Pokémon, just like players of the new generation games on the Nintendo Switch.

GO
The first major update is the Unova Tour, which will take place starting in March and will focus on Kyurem. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to catch Pokémon with ideal IVs for fusion with Reshiram or Zekrom.
On February 27, the Reshiram wave took place, and on February 28, it will be Zekrom’s turn, making it easier to catch these Pokémon.

Another update is the arrival of Kubfu and Urshifu in the game.

The trailer also showed the silhouette of Entei and a shadow of Suicune, sparking speculation about the possible inclusion of the Johto Beasts in the Dynamax mechanic, similar to what happened with the Kanto Birds between January and February.
Unite
The game will introduce Suicune, Alcremie, and Alolan Raichu as playable characters!
Other Media and Spin-Offs
Pokémon Master EX
Pokémon Sleep
TCG
In the TCG world, the big surprise was the return of Mega Evolutions! Since the franchise is revisiting Kalos, it makes sense to bring this mechanic back.
Since July 2024, speculation pointed to this return due to Japanese trademarks for Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia.
The new features include:
- Pokémon no longer need Spirit Link;
- Mega Evolution will not consume the player’s turn;
- Evolution can happen from any stage in the evolution line;
- Mega-Evolved Pokémon will give 3 Prize Cards when knocked out.
The first Pokémon announced were Mega Lucario and Mega Gardevoir!

TCG Pocket
A new collection focused on Arceus was revealed, following the recent trend of collections featuring Dialga and Palkia.
