One of the archetypes that explores the potential of Tarkir: Dragonstorm, Boros Discover focuses on the interaction of cards with the Discover ability released in Lost Caverns of Ixalan with Jeskai's Flurry keyword, consistently hitting cards that have this mechanic at the same time, and ensuring that two spells are cast each turn.
In this article, we present a list of this new Standard deck, with a Sideboard guide for the main matchups of the current Metagame!

This deck is basically a Midrange that aims to generate card advantage with each Discover cast that we run, with these consistently pulling Sage of the Skies or Cori-Steel Cutter while also triggering the abilities of both on their own.
Since we’ve created mana value constraints to take advantage of this ability, we’re using alternative costs to interact with the board early in the game through Twinmaw Stormbrood, Trumpeting Carnosaur, and Ride’s End, as well as Virtue of Loyalty as a proactive play.
Once we reach four mana, each of our cards starts generating a two-for-one or higher per trigger, allowing us to bury our opponents in card advantage while expanding our board position with cards that benefit from playing two spells per turn.
Our biggest weakness, as expected, is the early game. We have a lot of high mana value cards, and if we don’t draw the pieces to interact with our opponents in the first two or three turns, we’ll have a hard time getting back into the game even if we sequence a bunch of Discover cards.

We also have issues with very long games: except for Quintorius Kand, our cards that cast two spells at once have a single effect, unlike several other permanents available in the format that continue to benefit the opponent as long as they remain on the board.
Maindeck

The Discover package.
Etali’s Favor requires a creature to enchant, making it more vulnerable to removal. Still, we can play it on turn three with Virtue of Loyalty, pulling a Cori-Steel Cutter or Sage of the Skies on the same turn and starting an explosive sequence in the following turns.
Geological Appraiser is the closest thing to Bloodbraid Elf that we have, and also finds the same cards as Etali’s Favor while putting a 3/2 body on the board.
Quintorius Kand offers a win condition since it has a powerful interaction with other Discover cards, puts tokens into play every turn, and can reuse cards in your graveyard with its last ability, making it the complete package for the archetype.
Trumpeting Carnosaur can be discarded as removal early in the game, and is a powerful win condition in longer games, fulfilling both needs of the deck.

The payoffs. Both of these benefit from casting two spells in one turn and are the targets we pull with Discover cards in Game 1.
Cori-Steel Cutter is the latest staple, and for good reason. We don’t have many cheap spells to enable it in this list, but every Discover card we play will come with a 1/1 token for each copy of the artifact we find.
Sage of the Skies feels weak when played directly from hand on turn three, and we should always use it with another spell to create a copy. The evasive body with Lifelink grants some gas against Aggro, so don’t be afraid to cast it on turn three if you have it in your hand, since it buys you another turn to start sequences with the more expensive cards.

Alternative costs.
Twinmaw Stormbrood has a Roast as an alternative cost with Omen and deals with most non-flying creatures in the format. In longer games, we can use it as another win condition.
Ride’s End deals with any creature for a low mana value as long as they are tapped, preferably attacking. Since we don’t want to use damage-based removal against Screaming Nemesis or Heartfire Hero, we should save this type of interaction for those cards in games against Aggro.

Virtue of Loyalty works as a 2/2 for two mana in the early game, and its five-mana cast benefits from the tokens we create with Cori-Steel Cutter, Quintorius Kand, and Sage of the Skies.

Elegant Parlor, Battlefield Forge and Sunbillow Verge make up our dual lands. We avoid Inspiring Vantage since the turn four is where we don't need tapped lands, and we'd rather avoid that risk — Elegant Parlor filters the top and even ensure that the next Discover spell hits a useful card.
Cori Mountain Monastery interacts with Quintorius Kand and provides consistent card advantage every turn, similar to Castle Locthwain if we time it right.
Mirrex acts as the other mana sink we have in longer games and provides a recurring target for Etali's Favor when needed.
Sideboard

In some games, we remove some of the payoffs to insert cards that work better in those games. Rest in Peace, for example, is essential for games against Omniscience and Abhorrent Oculus, so pulling it from a Discover does much more than any other card.

Temporary Lockdown and Split Up are essential against Aggro decks, and most of our cards bypass the Lockdown restrictions — we usually side-out Cori-Steel Cutter in those games.

Beza, the Bounding Spring works in various matchups in the current Metagame and would be a maindeck card if we didn't need so many slots to interact with the early game. It works against Bounce, Red Aggro, and Midranges.
Elspeth, Storm Slayer provides more ongoing power in long games, deals with high mana value creatures, and offers evasion and permanent power boosts for Cori-Steel Cutter tokens and other creatures. She is a side-in longer games where we don't have to worry as much about the early pressure.
Season of the Burrow deals with Planeswalkers and other permanents while also having modules to bring a permanent back or fill the board with tokens that can grow with Virtue of Loyalty and Elspeth, Storm Slayer.
